Different Walks With God

Different Walks With God

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:19:20 (ESV)

We all have different and special walks in our life with God. They are not the same. We do not have to be a particular kind of person to have an awesome, special relationship with God. You are just you. God’s relationship with everyone is very different.

I know when we were in the hospital with Jacob, we spent time with other families that were there. Some had never taken their child home. Others left much quicker than we did. Some left without their child. We were exposed to so many different families, each having their own walk with God. During this, it made me see how big God really is. He not only hears me thanking Him, asking Him for help, and also hearing me have “words” with Him, but He’s walking with so many others at the same time. He is like our best friend.

“No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you.” John 15:15 (ESV)

About Susan Browder

“Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see.” Hebrews 11:1 I grew up in a small town in Alabama called Boligee. I am a wife and a mom to two sons, Nick who is 24 and married to his sweet wife, Mallory, and Jacob who is 18. My husband, Nicky, is a person of who I am so proud. Our lives changed forever on September 6, 2014 about 7:00 pm. Our son, Jacob, had an accident that would deeper our faith in God and challenge us in ways we never dreamed. My prayer is that our story will encourage others in their struggles with life altering experiences. My writing will be our testimonies but more than that it is about how we have a loving, caring God that carries us through the most difficult times of our lives.
