Today, Not Tomorrow
“So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.” Matthew 6:34 NLT
Make the Most of Today
Are you making the most of today?
Are you making today count?
Are you using your gifts and talents that God gifted you with?
Are you impacting the people you come in contact with daily?
Even more, If you are not, boy are you missing out.
Tim Tebow Prays for Stranger
Tim Tebow was on a plane in 2016. As it happened, a passenger needed medical attention. He noticed a lady crying and people panicking. Although Tim knew something was going on, he also knew he wasn’t a doctor. Therefore, he thought there was no way he could help. As he listen to music through his head phones, God prompted him to help. So he asked to the airline stewardess to ask the lady crying if he could pray with her. He was quickly motioned to come to the back of the plane where the lady fell in his arms sobbing. Furthermore her husband needed an epi pen and didn’t have a pulse.
Taking time to care
In summary, Tim prayed and stayed with her. As the plane landed, the EMT came in and got a pulse. The man was taken by ambulance and Tim drove the lady. Sadly, the man died. The lady ask Tim to walk her back to say her goodbyes. He heard the lady talk about how the couple made their days count, how they told each other how much they loved each other, and how appreciative they were that each always took care of the other.
Don’t Waste time
To be sure, I know that life has taught me not to waste my time here on earth. Through heartache and pain, I have gotten a glimpse of what it would look like for someone I love so abundantly to no longer be here. Worrying about my tomorrow was absolute torture. As I prayed for God to change my thinking and to teach me how to live for today, I let go of the control that I thought I had over myself and my family.
Live for Today
In conclusion, God has taught me what it looks like to live for today. When I look into my husband’s eyes, my two son’s eyes, my daughter-in-laws eyes, my a student’s eyes, a friend’s eyes, I aim to always encourage, to leave an impact, to be helpful, to be a blessing, and to let them know what a big place they have in my heart. Finally, for me, that is what makes Today count.
So, live “Today, Not Tomorrow.” Make a difference Today. Lastly, be a part of building people into their best. Don’t wait for tomorrow.
“Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.” Colossians 3:23 (NLT)

Thank you for the reminder that each day we have a purpose to reach others for Christ. Loved the Tbow story. The manner in which your family has kept faith through Jacob’s ordeal has and still impacts others for Him. May He continue to bless!
