Hope In God

“I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13 (NLT)

Face To Face with no hope

Have you ever inserted yourself or felt like God inserted you in a situation where you were face to face with someone who had no hope? So many emotions come to mind right here. When I find myself here, I talk about how I found the hope that I currently have and how I found my hope through the most difficult times in my life.

Hope is found in God

Who do you call when you need help with a problem or assistance with something? I know in my family, we are going to call the person who is the most experienced in whatever our problem is. I am going to call on the strongest person that I know. Just as with our biggest problems in life, we should call on the most experienced person who knows how to handle it all. I experienced how real hope is in my biggest life changing moment. What does hope look like and what does it really mean? I remember the first time that I understood hope. When I turned the toughest time in my life over to God and believed that he would handle it, I found my hope. Why would I want to trust anyone else to pull me through?

“We were given this hope when we were saved. If we already have something, we don’t need to hope for it. But if we look forward to something we don’t yet have, we must wait patiently and confidently.” Romans 8:24-25 (NLT)

About Susan Browder

“Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see.” Hebrews 11:1 I grew up in a small town in Alabama called Boligee. I am a wife and a mom to two sons, Nick who is 24 and married to his sweet wife, Mallory, and Jacob who is 18. My husband, Nicky, is a person of who I am so proud. Our lives changed forever on September 6, 2014 about 7:00 pm. Our son, Jacob, had an accident that would deeper our faith in God and challenge us in ways we never dreamed. My prayer is that our story will encourage others in their struggles with life altering experiences. My writing will be our testimonies but more than that it is about how we have a loving, caring God that carries us through the most difficult times of our lives.

We would love to hear from you
