Jesus “Over All Things”

“He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again. ” Luke 24:6-7

 EASTER Reminder
I love Easter Sunday. I enjoy gathering with my family and getting to catch up with them. So many families are going through so much and it is a great time to come together and be reminded that Jesus is “over all things.”

Heartitude

Not to make up another word, but I really feel like Jesus displayed what I would term “heartitude.” Jesus had such a great heart attitude. His mindset was one that was committed to the Father, but yet his daily attitude was filled with compassion. He did so many things for so many people and he did it with a great attitude. He wants us to have the same attitude. I have to really pray  for “heartitude” on some days.

Life is about Choices

We just watched the movie, “Walk,Ride.Rode” in my advisory class. It is based on the true story of Amberley Snyder. She is a barrel racer who was badly injured in a car wreck. She is now paralyzed.

As I watched the movie, I was in awe of her attitude, work ethic, and passion for life .  She admits she has tough days, but reminds all of us that we may not be in control of many of the curves life throws us, but we can be in control of our attitudes everyday. Think about that for a minute. Everyday we get to choose the kind day we want to have no matter our circumstances.

Finally, what happened to Amberley is a great reminder to us to remember that the person who walked on water, raised the dead, parted the sea, and rose from the grave is “over all things.”

About Susan Browder

“Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see.”  Hebrews 11:1 I grew up in a small town in Alabama called Boligee. I am a wife and a mom to two sons, Nick who is 24 and married to his sweet wife, Mallory, and Jacob who is 18.  My husband, Nicky, is a person of who I am so proud. Our lives changed forever on September 6, 2014 about 7:00 pm. Our son, Jacob, had an accident that would deeper our faith in God and challenge us in ways we never dreamed. My prayer is that our story will encourage others in their struggles with life altering experiences. My writing will be our testimonies but more than that it is about how we have a loving, caring God that carries us through the most difficult times of our lives.

We would love to hear from you
