I Know He loves Me
9 “I have loved you even as the Father has loved me. Remain in my love. 10 When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love, just as I obey my Father’s commandments and remain in his love.” John 15:9-10 (NLT)
These Words
The past few days, it has really been on my heart how much God must love me. In my mind, “I Know He Loves Me” and I know he loves us all. He wants the best for everyone, but for whatever reason, these words made a much greater impact on me recently.
Seen, Heard, Touched, and Witnessed
When we all go through the parts of our lives we really never wanted to go, if we really watch and listen, the words, “I Know He Loves Me,” can be seen, heard, touched, and witnessed every day. This is such a comfort for me these days. I never know how He will show me his love daily, but each day when He does, it fills my heart. It is something worth sharing, praising, and to smile about.
Prayer Is the Game Changer
Something that I have never stopped doing many times a day is praying for continued healing for my son, Jacob. We saw his doctor a few months ago who made this statement. “We are closing in pretty soon on 5 years from his injury. He’s done all the healing he’s going to do.” Just when he plants this in our heads, we see progress. We get new information through blood tests on how to improve some of his deficits. We get new information about possible stem cell treatment.
God Continues to Work
We have been blessed to be working with another doctor who has made it her mission to solve or find someone who has the answers to help solve the problems that Jacob is still experiencing. After finding the problem, and starting the process, we have been told these words, “You will see improvement in a few months and you will see a different person in around 6 months.
He Shows Us Every Day
I have never doubted God’s love for me, but I have asked him countless whys. One of the most important things that I have stressed to my son over the past 4 years, is how much God loves him. He shows us every day. He shows us when we get discouraged, we want to give up, when we lose friendships, when we don’t understand, when we hear a “no”, when we get thrown a curveball, when we pray, and through the many answered prayers. Oh, how He loves us!
”And may the Lord make your love for one another and for all people grow and overflow, just as our love for you overflows.” 1 Thessalonians 3:12 (NLT)
Counting My Blessings,

God “shows out” when Drs have no answers. So thankful for Jacob’s progress and testimony. You have no idea how many you encourage with your story. Bless you and your family! 💕
One of my favorite sayings from when my children were small was, “Please be patient, God is not through with me yet!” It is hard to be patient in the waiting for our miracles but this recognition of how much God loves us is vital. Your family is a walking witness of patience, perseverance, and FAITH! Thank you for being His vessel of outpouring on so many others! I have no doubt another miracle is in store!
