Life Dents

Life Dents

“For I hold you by your right hand— I, the LORD your God. And I say to you,
‘Donʼt be afraid. I am here to help you.” Isaiah 41:13 (NLT)

None of us loves to see a dent or or scratch in something we purchased and
spent money on. Even though there are so many ways to fix things that happen to our stuff, itʼs not pleasant to replace or fix something that has been damaged.

Have you ever had one of those years where the dents keep coming your way? I know so many are nodding their heads to this question. The year I was deeply dented from head to toe, is the year that made me who I am today. I surely didnʼt want or ask for all the dents in my life, but oh how I look at the Lord through a different set of eyes and a much different heart.

Iʼve learned the way I look at my “life dents” makes all the difference. Using
what Iʼve learned about my “life dents” helps me see and notice the blessings. It lets me take notice of how He helped me every step of the way. Take the time today to revisit your “life dents.” What can you learn about yourself? Who helped you?

Counting My Blessings,

About Susan Browder

“Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see.” Hebrews 11:1 I grew up in a small town in Alabama called Boligee. I am a wife and a mom to two sons, Nick who is 24 and married to his sweet wife, Mallory, and Jacob who is 18. My husband, Nicky, is a person of who I am so proud. Our lives changed forever on September 6, 2014 about 7:00 pm. Our son, Jacob, had an accident that would deeper our faith in God and challenge us in ways we never dreamed. My prayer is that our story will encourage others in their struggles with life altering experiences. My writing will be our testimonies but more than that it is about how we have a loving, caring God that carries us through the most difficult times of our lives.

I don’t look forward to more dents, but my life has become richer in the past few years due to struggles. I truly appreciate each day due to God’s hand bringing me through trials. Loved the video!God bless!
