Who I’m Meant to be

“Who I’m Meant to Be”

Looking at Spiritual gifts to find who I’m meant to be.

“There are different kinds of spiritual gifts, but the same Spirit is the source of them all.” 1 Corinthians 12:4 (NLT)

My bible studies class is continuing the study by John K. John, “The Power of Your YOUniqueness.” We are in session two and John discusses how knowing your top five strengths can make you a more successful person.  I started making a mental list of mine. I felt like it was a little difficult to come up with five things I feel would be considered a gift.

What Do People Come to You For?

A friend in this group today spoke up and said she had trouble coming up with hers as well. Her husband could easily come up with her five. John K John said to think of the things that people come to you for. Why do they come to you for this particular thing? This is where it became clearer to me what my five strengths are. I want to strive to be the person “who I’m meant to be.”

Make your list today! What spiritual gifts did God bless you with? Don’t keep them hidden. If you have the gift of positivity, use it daily. If you have the gift of being a compassionate person, spread compassion around daily.  Whatever your gifts are, use them. They are meant to be poured out into the world. Use them and see yourself become a more successful person.

Counting My Blessings,

About Susan Browder

“Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see.”  Hebrews 11:1 I grew up in a small town in Alabama called Boligee. I am a wife and a mom to two sons, Nick who is 24 and married to his sweet wife, Mallory, and Jacob who is 18.  My husband, Nicky, is a person of who I am so proud. Our lives changed forever on September 6, 2014 about 7:00 pm. Our son, Jacob, had an accident that would deeper our faith in God and challenge us in ways we never dreamed. My prayer is that our story will encourage others in their struggles with life altering experiences. My writing will be our testimonies but more than that it is about how we have a loving, caring God that carries us through the most difficult times of our lives.

We would love to hear from you
