“From the rising of the sun to its setting, the name of the LORD is to be praised!” Psalm 113:3 (ESV)
There is Always A Reason
Think of the most consistent person you know. Who is it? Are they always there for you? Can you go to them anytime of the day? Are they the answer to your prayers in your moment of need? Do they give you the advice you want to hear or need to hear? I have a few people who fall into this category, but the one who fits there perfectly every time is Jesus.
Jesus is the most consistent and dependable person I know. He’s always there when I need him. I can go to him anytime. He is always the answer. He tells me exactly what I need to hear. I have learned to let Him hear it all first. That is exactly why I am so thankful to Him.
Who?
Who is Jesus to you? Think about all the things He has done for you in your lifetime. Think of all the seasons He has led you through. Reflect on all of the times you asked countless whys and later found out the whys. This is why I completely trust Him and why we all should. There is always a reason for our season. The Lord already knows when we walk through something, how it all is going to end. Think about all the people in the bible who praised the Lord when they walked through rough patches and the toughest of times. Think about how they continued on in their journey, trusting Him.
When it comes
So the next time you find yourself in a season of your life where you don’t know what’s coming, remember to praise the Lord. Remember, He already knows your ending, so you need to be sure to learn the lesson in your season. Think about what He is trying to teach you. Don’t just praise Him in your wonderful and magnificent moments. Praise Him when the unexpected swoops in and causes a disruption in your life. That disruption will definitely teach you something and remember there is always a reason. Don’t forget to pause and remember all that He has done for you.
