“And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.” Philippians 4:8 (NLT)
There are so many people God has placed in my life at the perfect moment. Some of these people did what they considered to be small things for me, which turned out to be huge blessings.
Friends on my path
As I started my college classes in 1991, I thought I wanted to be a nurse. I quickly realized I didn’t have this gift. God placed a friend in my path one day and this person looked at me with a look of, “I can’t believe you don’t know what you’re calling is!” She said, “Susan, you love kids! You should be a teacher.” Well twenty-nine years later, I’m teaching in my twenty-fifth year.
Perfectly Placed
I could write hundreds of pages of instances like this happening throughout my life, and I’m sure you could too! God is so good at perfectly placing people in our lives to create blessings. These certainly deserve praise.
Counting My Blessings,
Susan Browder
