The When the fullness of time
4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, 5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. 6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. 7 Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ. Galatians 4:4-7
In the time of Herod king of Judea there was a priest named Zechariah, who belonged to the priestly division of Abijah; Luke 1:5
2 In those days Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be taken of the entire Roman world. 2 (This was the first census that took place while[e] Quirinius was governor of Syria.)………6 While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, 7 and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. Luke 2:1-7
The Genealogy of Jesus the Messiah
1 This is the genealogy[a] of Jesus the Messiah[b] the son of David, the son of Abraham: …….17 Thus there were fourteen generations in all from Abraham to David, fourteen from David to the exile to Babylon, and fourteen from the exile to the Messiah. (Matthew 1:1-17)
When?
The “when” is not a direct question asked by the characters of the first Christmas. It is a question however, that should be asked. For, in asking this question we determine the validity of all the prophecies surrounding the birth of Messiah.
When was the Messiah born? First, it is clearly documented throughout Scripture from the prophets, from those who were eyewitnesses, and from historical documents of the Roman Empire. Most importantly, Jesus was born at the EXACT moment in time as foretold by God centuries before His birth and at a time when information was easily spread thanks to the public works of the vast Roman Empire.
The timing of His birth
When was Jesus born? On-time! In fact, all 500 prophecies of His birth were fulfilled to the last “I” dotted and “T” crossed. The world He was born into was a political mess, a social disaster, a cross-cultural war was taking place; the world was a place of disease, disability, destruction, and death, and a religious power struggle. between heaven and hell was evident. It was JUST LIKE IT IS TODAY. He came to experience it all so He would be acquainted with our grief!!!!
Fact?
Jesus is a fact. Every person who has set out to disprove His life, ministry, and mission ends up at a crossroads and they come to the same conclusion Max Lucado came to: No Wonder They Call Him Savior. The Case for Christ is written by a former atheist, Lee Strobel, who is now a devout believer. Chuck Colson found Christ in a jail cell. Many find Him on their deathbeds. A thief found Jesus to be who He said He is hanging next to Him on a Roman cross. Jesus is a fact. When you accept this is entirely up to you.
Choices
God the Father, gives you a choice. To accept Him or deny He is the Christ is your choice. You are not a puppet. You have free will. Remember, you are allowed to choose what you believe, you are not given a choice with the consequences of your choice. The choice has ETERNAL consequences.
The question each of us must ask is this: When will I come to worship Him? This is your question alone to answer. And it must be answered……….
Messiah, by Francesca Battsitelli
Oh, and in case you haven’t heard: He is coming again and the “when” will be just the same: Right on time!

All the questions answered
All the questions, the who, what, where, how, and when, of the Nativity have been asked and the answers explored. The gift of God has been delivered, unwrapped, and is now your’s. The funny thing about gifts is they are either accepted wholeheartedly or received with a polite “thank you” and then put away out of sight and out of mind. The gift was given with you in mind by a loving God and His Son and the price paid was astronomical. His Spirit is urging you to go West. Follow where the Light leads, and accept the Lamb’s sacrifice so you too will be a Wise (wo)man. Then, the gift He has given you will be worshiped and adored. Never forget, this gift became your sacrifice. What Christmas began, culminated on Calvary’s hill at Passover (Easter).
