From the front porch and beyond:
Thankful for the beauty of the day’s end
The day’s end approaches and I look for the good God gave us for today.
This morning brought humidity looking outside a false thought of being able to enjoy the porch for a few.
Sausage frying, eggs, and biscuits.
Then, off to enjoy a little one dancing with joy at her recital.
A walk in the city, humid with smiling and greetings from proud parents and grandparents, friends, old and new, laughter rings and children voices. Groceries are bought.
After another day’s end, God welcomes me with a cool breeze and beckons me to walk and see what the day’s end will bring.
Roses, Day Lillie’s, hydrangeas, Maginola’s, greens of every shade, and sunset.
As the day ends, my heart is thankful once, again.
Lord, please see my thankful heart. Please be glorified in this good day that by your grace, wisdom, strength, and power are given.
Amen
This is the day the Lord has made;
We will rejoice and be glad in it.
Ps. 118:24 “This is the day that the Lord has made, Let us rejoice and be glad in it.”
