Shared treasures, smiles and videos

Shared treasures, pictures and videos

From the front porch and beyond:

Stepping  back in time

Today we stepped back in time to review old videos.

We laughed, smiled, and missed people, like days gone by. In doing this we found precious memories and treasures long forgotten. We found pictures of a sweet community that was no more.

Shared Treasure

I began to share these treasures with people that had deep connections with times and places that had not seen the videos or pictures before. Being able today giving the gift of new pictures of those that were gone too soon.

The outpouring of joy and delight, the smiles of people, we did not know and friends alike.

Treasures shine so much brighter when shared.

Where some were weary, they were refreshed and the sweet memories brought a lift to their day. There were faces of those gone too soon that shined with laughter; bringing joy to those left behind.

Almost as if they had stopped by for a visit.

My Prayer

Heavenly Father,

You know it is not normal for me to look back. But today it was a treasure, that brought visitors and sweet memories.

Sharing it brought smiles and good memories.

Thank you, Heavenly thank for the good you brought today. The treasures you led to us back today.

Thank you for knowing this was where we needed to go today! Thank you for the laughter and sweet visits.

Amen

Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.

1 Thessalonians 5:11

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:29-30
