Beautiful Feet

From the front porch and beyond:

While remembering a dear friend today, I had to smile. His discomfort with feet was evident, if you were around him for very long you knew why. But it is his choice of profession that made them unavoidable.

Baby Feet

I, on the other hand, have always loved babies’ feet and I have gained much respect and love, for this body part that is taken for granted by most of us.

Precious Feet

One of my grandsons was born with a club foot. There has and continue to be many doctor’s visits, braces, and a few surgeries. Our family looks in awe and praise at what God has done with those precious feet. There is nothing that compares with hearing him shout “Look at me, I am fast.” As he runs across the yard.

Foundational Feet

Feet are our body’s foundation. Just as Christ is our foundation.  They give us balance, posture, and well-being. Just as Christ gives us balance, posture, and well-being.

Our feet are incredibly complex; having 26 bones, 33 joints, and over 100 muscles, ligaments, and tendons.

But they are simply, there without us understanding the complexity. Just as Christ is complex, we just need to accept HE  is there; without understanding the complexity.

Happy Feet

If your feet are unhappy, so is your entire body. Just as when we are out of God’s will we are unhappy.

Whether we understand it or not our feet tell the story of Jesus.

Humble Feet

Our Savior washed this humble body part that gets very little respect preparing his disciples to tell the story of Jesus. The Bible talks of the beauty of the feet that carries the good news.

Do you have beautiful feet?

Do your feet bring good?

Have you thought of how beautiful the feet of your pastor or missionaries are?

Have you prayed for your spouse, children, or grandchildren to have beautiful feet?

Heavenly Father,

Thank you for our feet.

Thank you, that our feet tell us the story of who you are.

Please give us beautiful feet.

Please let our feet tell of your goodness, love, mercy, and grace.

Father, give our family and friends beautiful feet that bring your peace.

Keep our feet on the ancient path of good for your honor and glory.

Do these things according to your perfect way and will in Jesus Christ’s powerful name.

Amen
