Pray with Thanksgiving

Never Stop Praying

I saw this on Facebook on Precept Ministries’ page.  Paul is writing to the church at Ephesus and though he is a wee bitty bit perturbed with these believers he is telling them that he loves them so much that he NEVER stops praying for them!

God Hears Our Prayers

I would be willing to bet my paycheck (which I cannot really afford to lose) that you have some people in your life that you feel exactly the same way about!  No matter how bad it gets, no matter how messy the situation, no matter how deep the trouble, no matter how far away they run, or how long it has been since you spoke, YOU ARE PRAYING!  I mean praying to the point the Lord could say (He never will), “Ok, all right all ready, I heard you the first 5000 times you asked me to do what you think is best. Could you just once ask ME what I think is best in this situation?  If you would hush, I could work on it!”  This is love that knows no end!  Love doesn’t give up, it keeps hoping, it continues to believe, it watches the horizon, it keeps the phone on, it turns the porch light on to help light the way home, it weeps, it warns, it wishes, it WAITS.

Thankfulness

I am thankful for you.  If you are reading these words I thank you for the time you have given, the honor you show by “listening” to our hearts.  I thank you for your feedback, all of it!  I thank you for coming back each day, for signing up to be sure you do not miss a single post.  As I write, I am thankful I think of you.   I carefully choose words so they are clear At least I really try because these words are what I believe the Lord wants me to write. So, I think of you often and thank God for you.

One of the greatest Gifts

The love of God is not based on what you do or don’t do it is based on who you are.  Prayer is one of the greatest gifts we can give.  Prayer is a fancy word for talking to God and telling Him thank you for all He has done, will do, and it is listening to get His point of view.  I pray for you as I write.  I ask the Lord to use this site to speak hope into your weary, wounded, and worn-out heart.

Living the Christian Life

We are sisters (and brothers for you brave men that read us too) in this thing we call the Christian life.  I fail to live to the standard more than I succeed.  The reward is in the small and seemingly insignificant to the world.  Hearing one day of “well done” is all I will ever need!  It IS MUCH! Thanksgiving List

So, you are on my thanksgiving list!  I am so thankful for Y-O-U!  I will never cease to make mention of you in my prayers with thanksgiving.

Blessings for today and every day,

Yvonne

We would love to hear from you
