Mercy

Mercy: Psalm 86:5 For Thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon Thee. (emphasis mine)

This is the image that came to mind as I read these words penned by the psalmist.

Mercy, by Elevation Worship

Please listen to the words, they are powerful. Really let the Word sink in as you listen. It is a bit long but if you will allow it, this will reach deep into your Spirit and do something amazing.

Receiving Mercy

You see, to receive mercy, forgiveness, and goodness I MUST be in a posture and mindset to receive it….open hands to receive ALL God gives as good even when it does not feel good. Until I receive His mercy, forgiveness, and goodness filling my cup until it overflows, I cannot be a vessel used to fill another’s empty cup so they can fill another soul’s cup.

Share Mercy

The rain falls on us all but only those who allow the LORD to fill our empty cup with His MERCY, FORGIVENESS, AND GOODNESS will be used by Him to SHARE mercy, forgiveness, and goodness into the cup of another.

Fill Your cup with Jesus’ Mercy

LET HIM FILL YOUR CUP TODAY! NO MATTER WHAT YOU ARE EXPERIENCING HE MEANS IT FOR GOOD IN YOUR LIFE AND TO GLORIFY THE GOD OF ABRAHAM, ISSAC, JACOB, JESUS, AND ME!

Prayer

Heavenly Father,

It is my prayer this day that I might standstill with open hands to receive all that comes my way as a gift and see it as wholly good! Lord, only as I do this day to day will I see the glory of You. Nothing goes to waste in Your economy and it all brings dividends of grace, mercy, forgiveness, and it molds me into the image of Your Son, my Savior. Use me to rain this abundance to those around me. Father, this is my plea. I want others to see Jesus!

About Yvonne Jones

I am at heart, a LIFEguard: "big" sister, mama, grandmother, aunt, friend, swimming coach, lifeguard trainer, and registered nurse. I am in the business of alleviating fear through education and lots of hand holding. As a swimming instructor, I have taught people of all ages to overcome fear of the water and I marvel as fear gives way to fearlessness, as panic turns to pure joy, as tears dissolve into giggles of glee, and pennies retrieved from the bottom of the abyss become trophies. As a nurse, I have been privileged to walk up to Heaven's gate as patients and family are welcomed home, witnessed the miracle of birth, helped mend broken hearts, and cared for the elderly as they wait. Scriptures number one admonition is "fear not." Question is HOW??? The Word becomes our swimming instructor and can help us learn to "tread water til Jesus comes." Something my students often thought I was going to make them do! So welcome to my pool! Jump in the cool water. Let it refresh your soul and feel the unseen hands of the Master Lifeguard lift you up and out of the deep water. Who knows, you just might even walk on water!

We would love to hear from you
