From the front porch and beyond:
I love on occasions to try my hand at rooting plants.
My Heavenly Father laughs and holds my hand showing and teaching me, because He knows I have no chance without him.
But it’s beautiful weather and totally the wrong time of year.
But, I find I could use some new shrubs at the front of the house for early spring, and here we are.
And my Heavenly Father begins my lessons.
Ephesians 3:17-19 NLT. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong.
Jeremiah 17:8 For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
Isaiah 37:31 31 Once more a remnant of the kingdom of Judah will take root below and bear fruit above.
Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your wisdom and guidance.
Your blessings on my attempts.
Let my roots grow deep in you.
Let my branches be green and fruitful as they reach upward.
Prune and shape me at your will and for your purpose and glory in Jesus Christ’s powerful name.
Amen
