From the front porch and beyond:
There are times when I miss God’s obvious answers. I found myself with Naaman’s syndrome, recently. Read 2 Kings 5.
Unexpected
A few weeks we had a unexpected error in paying a big bill twice and prayed for God’s guidance. I have to admit I was wearing God down for answers.
In the waiting one amount was shifted for a temporary fix, then a few days another thing shifted. Still I was letting the issue consum my prayer time and focus.
The answer will come

Then, God’s clear answer came,”Debbie next week the correction will come. I gave the answers and they have and will fall in place at the right time. You can not handle all I have to give and one time”.
I sat with my mouth hanging open, how could I have let this take up so much of my time?
God’s faithfulness
How could I have forgotten my God’s faithfulness?
How could have failed to trust His timing?
Because I was looking for a Big Bang, the earth to shake and I almost missed His answer.
I was looking for my answers, not His!

Heavenly Father,
Forgive me.
Help me to remember who you are.
Help me remember your faithfulness.
Help me see the little miracles.
Help me trust your timing.
Continue to teach me who you are.
You are a good, good Father.
You provide what we need to have a good day for your glory.
Amen
