When You Don’t Have a Clue What to Do
“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” Psalm 119:105 (ESV)
There are so many times in the past three years I have thought to myself or said out loud, “I don’t have a clue what to do.” How many of you out there can relate? NUMEROUS times, I have had the tendency to head down the wrong path.
Through trial and error, I’ve learned I do not make the wisest choices when I am in the driver seat.
When you don’t have a clue what to do, guess who does? In my most difficult moments over the last few years, I haven’t had a clue. Reading the bible daily equips me for the understanding I need in situations. It not only changes a person on the inside, but it helps us deal with the crazy world outside.
In Matt Chandler’s study on Psalm 119, he explains how we should hold our life with an open hand. How often do we do this?
God has been teaching me a lot about holding my life with an open hand. Oh the blessing this has brought me! I now have a clue what to do when I am in any situation. I just talk to God with an open hand and trust him because he knows my path.
