Imagine the Beauty

Imagine the Beauty

Beauty in God’s Creation

Genesis 1:1 NCBS, “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.”

Beauty

The sunrise is amazingly beautiful as I sit gazing this spring morning. A hummingbird flits by seeking the sugar water provided for him. The birds serenade in the sunrise. A turkey is gobbling in the distance as a deer walks across the meadow. Fish are jumping and a goose lands in the water. Such graceful beauty as she swims effortless. The wildflowers are blooming in whites, yellows and purple hues. Such magnificence all created by God. As I observe, I can’t even imagine the beauty of the Garden of Eden.

God Created

Genesis 1:31, “God saw all that He had made, and it was very good.”

God created the heavens and earth, water and land, all living creatures and the birds that fly above the earth and He saw that it was good. Adam and Eve enjoyed God’s creation and His companionship in the cool of the day, the Bible says. The vegetation was watered by a mist that came from the ground. Adam and Eve had no worries, fears or pain. Their food was readily available and the pleasures of the earth were all theirs. Can you imagine how beautiful and peaceful, so much so that God approved? It was good, He said.

Sin

Until sin. Adam and Eve were tempted and succumbed to the temptation. The pleasures of the Garden faded away and they had to labor for their food among thorns with fear and heartache in their lives.

God’s Plan

Romans 3:25, “God presented Him as a propitiation through faith in His blood, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His restraint God passed over the sins previously committed.”

God had a plan. He is omniscient. He knew the future then and He knows tomorrow. Nothing’s surprises Him. He knows! On Easter weekend, we remember God’s plan. He sent His son, Jesus Christ to be a propitiation for our sins. Propitiation is a word used in the Bible for only an act of God. It means He showed mercy for us through Christ’s sacrifice. Anyone who believes in Jesus Christ is delivered from their justly deserved wrath and comes under the covenant of grace. Do I hear a hardy AMEN from those of you reading? Christ died for us and it even gets better, He arose so that we might have life eternal.

Paradise

Revelation 21:1, “Then I saw a new heaven and earth, for the first heaven and first earth had passed away, and the sea no longer existed.”

One day we will all live in paradise. Jesus Christ will be the Light. We will walk streets of gold. God will have prepared a house for us made of precious jewels. Can you just picture in your imagination the beauty. The Bible says there will be no shadow or darkness so I just imagine the Light rays of color shining through the rubies, diamonds and other precious jewels. What color we will see! There will be no pain, fear or heartache.

As Easter comes this year, remember what Jesus Christ did for you. Take time to thank Him for His grace, mercy and love that we can’t even imagine. Then rejoice that He is living and one day will return to take us home to Paradise.

About Paula Wallace

A child of God, wife, mother and grandmother of 6 precious children. I love art, nature and treasure my dear friends. Through the valleys and mountaintops, God led me to His saving grace at the age of 32. Since then the valleys and mountaintops have proven His love to me. I am learning to trust Him in all things. My prayer is that you, too, accept Jesus as Lord and Savior and trust Him. The Bible verse that I lean on mostly is Proverbs 3: 5-6 “ Trust in the Lord with all your heart. And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your path.”NKJV Paula Wallace

Both messages on the covering of God are perfect messages for this week. He covered us to protect us from the storms days ago. He covers our sins. He gives us our armor to protect our Christian walk. He even covers us through forgiveness. Than you Lord for our Savior Jesus. Bless you ladies for your work and time. ❤️❤️
