From the front porch and beyond:
I find it rare a time when I cannot sit down and write, but this week has been difficult.
I sit and the words will not come.
I long for more.
I long to understand the stillness, as He is about doing great and wondrous things.
I long for Him to open my mind, so once, again; I pray, seek, and watch.
He quietly scolds me; you see I am selfish, I see my Father answering prayers, moving in those around me, as I ask. But I miss His undivided attention. I miss our front porch time, but He is quiet; whispering watch. I miss His voice.
So I watch, waiting to see His magnificence beyond imagination. Standing in awe of the details He finds important; the timing, truth revealing moments.
He is at work and He has given me a ringside seat to the most unimaginable miracles, gifts, and blessings!
My friends are receiving His miracles, His peace, His comfort, mercy, and grace. He is making ways in this world of trouble that I would have never dreamed of. He is walking, carrying, and providing exactly what they need for each day. All they have to do is reach for Him and He is there.
What a blessed Savior!
His goodness never fails!
