The last month has been full of goodbyes.
Another year is ending, tomorrow will never be the same.
We laid to rest family, friends with many hours of memories, and people that our eyes met for a few minutes once or twice a year. But they each found a place in our lives that belonged to nobody but them.
Impressions that are etched in our memories.

Smiles, sadness, touches, words, and prayers. Some left trails of tears; happy and sad.
As the year ends we give them each to the Father. Asking to keep the smiles and laughter. Asking the grief to ease.
We ask to see the good of today for God’s glory.
We leave tomorrow in God’s very capable hands and wisdom.
As I write, it is with a prayer in every word, because my humanity will want to go back and visit the grief. The what if’s, the should’ve, and the could’ve, but, again in my humanity and humility I realize that peace comes from the Father.
John 14:27 NIV
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
Heaven Father,
We end the year by giving you our joys and failures of yesterday. We give you the thankfulness of each memory, each encounter, every joy, and all the sadness, turn them to glory for you.
Remind us each morning that every encounter is important. Each encounter is holy. Remind us that tomorrow is gone and tomorrow is held by you. Remind us you have good plans for us today for your glory. Give us accepting hearts for your plans In Jesus Christ’s powerful name.
Amen
