LUKE 5:1-11NASB   “Jesus said, “Put out into deep water, and let down the nets for a catch.” Simon answered, “Master, we’ve worked hard all night and haven’t caught anything.  But because you say so, I will let down the net.”

Small Goldfish in an aquarium

Goldfish are small fish that can live wild to be big fish!

In the news, this week was a story about goldfish being placed in lakes in Minnesota.  As explained in the paragraph below, some of the goldfish caught weight 4 lbs and the size of a football.

Small goldfish grows big

Small goldfish in a bigger environment

That’s the way we feel at treadingwatertiljesuscomes.com. There are so many big fish in the ocean of the Christian bloggers ocean.  We have been steadily writing for 6  years now.  We have been so blessed to have so many write about their lives.  They have given us many things to encourage, sustain and build our relationship with Christ.

The Bull Didn’t Win

We are excited that Susan and Jacob Browder’s book has taken off.  We have been through Susan’s experience for the last couple of years.  She blessed us with her story.  We want to suggest that you go online and order a book for yourself and one as a gift for someone else. Obedience and Faith

Susan listened to God about writing this book.  She may have felt like a small fish in a big ocean of famous and not-so-famous authors.  BUT GOD.  She and Jacob have much to encourage others. We pray this will be one of those circumstances where God grows others in their faith experiences into big fish.

Be Fishers of Men

When we allow Jesus to grow our spiritual bodies, we can grow to amazing sizes (spiritually speaking).  We can help to grow other “fish” of men by following the master fisherman, Jesus. The main idea is not to become a giant in our own eyes.  But to become all that God has purposed for our lives.

Thank you Susan!  We will be watching to see more of how God grows all of us into bigger fish for His kingdom.

Blessed beyond measure
