About Susan Browder

“Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see.”  Hebrews 11:1 I grew up in a small town in Alabama called Boligee. I am a wife and a mom to two sons, Nick who is 24 and married to his sweet wife, Mallory, and Jacob who is 18.  My husband, Nicky, is a person of who I am so proud. Our lives changed forever on September 6, 2014 about 7:00 pm. Our son, Jacob, had an accident that would deeper our faith in God and challenge us in ways we never dreamed. My prayer is that our story will encourage others in their struggles with life altering experiences. My writing will be our testimonies but more than that it is about how we have a loving, caring God that carries us through the most difficult times of our lives.

You Are My Champion

Mile Markers

As we approached the seven-year mark of Jacob’s injury, we reflected on what God has trusted Jacob and our family with. He has given us all something so tremendous to share. The song, “Champion,” by Bethel Music sums it all up, especially in the first few lines.

Carry His Victory

God chose so many people to carry His victory, and out of all those people, He included Jacob. As a mom, that wows me. I feel so honored to be a part of His victory.

You are my champion

I know I don’t deserve all that has been given to me and my family, but I am forever going to shout about all of the miracles that have broken out throughout the last seven years.

Who is your champion?

Whatever you are facing today, remember who your champion is, who is undefeated, and who battles for you. Don’t be afraid to trust Him and let Him knock you giant’s down. To be used by Him is the greatest honor.

Counting My Blessings,

Susan Browder
