“ Covered with His Feathers “

“Covered with His Feathers “

Mercy Me “Even If” https://youtu.be/yYkH1oc6WeI

Today is almost two weeks since our precious 2nd son went home to be with the Lord. Tears flow in waves down my face, out of my aching heart.

How can this be ? ? ? Not another son ! ! !

“ FATHER, I ONLY HAD TWO TO GIVE TO YOU “ !!!

Why did you require both Darren and Jonathan ???

“ One to cancer, and the other to the china virus “,

“ One was 49, and one was 50 “,

Why?

“Scars in Heaven” Casting Crowns

Both, so young and full of life, both in a 4 ½ year time span. They were to be here to take care of Buddie and I in our old age. There were so many questions, so many times, I said, “Father, I don’t understand “ !!!

THEN

Then, You speak your Word, You assure me of your presence, You tell my broken heart, “ I WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU, NOR FORSAKE YOU “!!! (Heb. 13:5c) You tell this little child of yours, “ I WILL HOLD YOU WITH MY RIGHTEOUS RIGHT HAND AND I WILL GIVE YOU STRENGTH “. (Is. 41:10) Your peace floods my heart, overrides the emotions of sorrow and grief, and it gives comfort to the depths of my soul.

All through the day

Covered with His Feathers

Continually through the day, You speak, “ I AM COVERING YOU WITH MY FEATHERS, AND UNDER MY WINGS, YOU WILL TRUST “. (Ps. 91:4c) The secureness of your protection wraps me up, providing what I need for the day. Are you also heartbroken, grieving a loss, thinking I am alone, and no one understands? Are you saying, “ Even, I don’t understand “.

You never fail us

Right now ……. I am just snuggling down under my Father’s feathers of protection that are lovingly covering me, and I am choosing to trust Him in the midst of all the tears, the griefs, and the questions. The Lord is truly my refuge and strength, my ever-present help in any situation. And He never fails us! (Ps.46:1)

Come join me! As a small child snuggles down into their parents’ protected arms when they are hurting and afraid, you and I can do the same in our Father’s arms as “ He truly covers us with His feathers and we continue to trust .“

Covered with His feathers,
