I believe that one day there was a conversation in heaven between God, our Father, and Jesus, His Son. The Father, who knows and sees all things, knew that Adam would sin and disobey Him and bring a curse of eternal death on all mankind.
“Wherefore, by one man (Adam) sin entered into the world, and death by sin, and so death passed upon all men …..” (Romans 5:12)
He said, “The people of earth are under a death sentence. Someone is needed to go to earth to become a sacrifice for all mankind.”
Just like when He came to Abraham in a vision and brought him to a high place overlooking a great distance and told him, “Look now toward the heavens, as vast as the stars are in the heavens, this is how much I will bless you with children.” (Genesis15:1-6)
I also believe that the Father took His Son, Jesus, to the tallest mountain of heaven and said to Him, “Look out over the new world and see the people who will never know You and I, the souls of mankind that will never have intimacy with Us and will abide in total darkness for all eternity.”
I believe that He also began to name those by name who would know Him for eternity; “Adam and Eve and their children, Abraham and Sarah and all their families, Jacob and Leah and Rachel and all the Israelite children, David, Daniel, Jeremiah, and continued all the way to you and I and our families, and any that would be born throughout the ages“ after us.
Our Father continues to speak “There is only One Way to break this yoke of darkness from off these precious children. A perfect sacrifice is needed. Unless, you choose to let me plant you deep into the earth as the Precious Seed of Heaven; they will all be lost forever and ever.“
We know that Jesus looked out beyond heaven, saw all the precious souls that would believe and trust in Him. He saw all the billions and billions that would be saved; He saw You and your children and grandchildren, and family. He saw me, my children and grandchildren, and family. He began to rejoice.
God’s word tells us that He endured the cross “……..for the joy that was set before Him…..”(Hebrews 12:2b)
We also know that Jesus’ answer was “I will go, Father!”
John 10:17a says that “My Father loves me because I lay down my life…..No man takes it from me, but, I lay it down of myself…..”.
Our Wonderful Savior came and revealed what True Love was all about.
“Greater love has no man than to lay down his life for His friends.” (John 15:13)
Do you realize how much You are Loved?
“Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent His Son to be the propitiation (the atoning sacrifice) for our sins.” ( 1 John 4:10)
