Faith Hope and Love  Hillsong

Faith Hope & Love

Three things I have clung to over the past few years are faith, hope, and love. These are only three things, but they are the biggest three things God has given me and taught me. He has given me a faith bigger than all of my fears in a time I desperately needed them. God has given me a hope so tremendous that it carried me through each day. He has given me a love like no other and has filled my life with family and friends I adore. 

Three Lasting Things

This past Saturday, I held my Grandson, Baker Gray, as he fell asleep in my arms. Holding a sleeping baby creates one of the most peaceful God given moments we can experience.

As I created a rocking motion in my foldable chair and looked out over the beautiful farm and lake in front of me, I took a moment just to take in all the beauty surrounding me. As I scanned the landscape scenery, I heard the sweetest little voice as my granddaughter played and enjoyed every moment of these three things.  God uses these moments to remind us all three, lasting things- faith, hope, and love.

Greatest of these is Love

You see, these three lasting things are what life is all about.  Faith, hope, and love are the greatest of all things, but love, love makes you see life so clearly. I encourage you today to think of these three things each morning. Have faith each day and when fear swoops in, take a time out, breathe, and allow yourself to think clearly. Remember He has your back. Don’t forget about hope and be confident in Him. Lastly, LOVE! Love on the people you see daily, and love and treasure those special moments with family. My sons have grown up so quickly and time keeps marching on. They are both in their twenties. Having grandchildren has brought a new meaning to time flying by. I plan to soak every moment and pass on these three lasting things to all of them.
