Miracles

Miracles God’s Handiwork

Over the last few weeks, there have been several incidents where at first looked tragic, but then you saw the hand of God. Some received miracles and others were miracles. Stories were shared, faith grew, and eyes were opened.

Miracles are mysteries

My mind began to wander:
What if those things we do not understand, we accepted them as too wonderful for us to know?

What if the devastating was just us not seeing? It wasn’t something we needed to know and fix.

What if we chose to walk in faith, trusting God, instead of dissecting it; even in the worst news?

What if we walked as if, we knew He was right beside us and we did not have to have the answer, because He had them and that was enough?

What if we accepted that our Father is doing work too wonderful for us to know?

What if we did the work of belief; instead of trying to fix what we are incapable of?

Prayer is trusting

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for all of the many things you do that are just too wonderful for us to know! Thank you for the mystery of your wisdom.
Thank you in the worst moments of our life
Your plans are for our good and your glory in this world of chaos and downfall.

Help my unbelief.

Help us, especially me to stop searching for the details and control, recognizing that you hold everything together and your wisdom is far greater than mine. Help me remember that you will guide me through the dark valleys. You will light my way.
Remind me that I don’t have to know the why’s, I just have to do the work of believing.
Father, this was hard for those that walked beside Jesus, and it’s hard for me. Help me stay firmly planted in you.
Teach me to trust you more.
Lord, do great work in me, so you can do abundantly more for your glory.
In Jesus Christ’s powerful name.
Amen
