God’s Hiding Place
Do you ever feel like running away? Do you wish there was a secret place where you could escape all the troubles in the world?
At times it seems life gets bigger than we can handle.
WE CAN’T BUT GOD CAN!
We have a place to run. We have a hiding place. We have a shelter in the storms of life.
Psalms 91:1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
God is always near. He is always watching over you and me. He guides our steps so we do not falter.
He surrounds us with songs of deliverance.
You are my hiding place; You preserve me from trouble; You surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah.
He hides us under His wings. He keeps us in the shadow of His wings.
He conceals us in His tabernacle. In the secret place of His tent.
Psalm 27:5
For in the day of trouble He will conceal me in His tabernacle; In the secret place of His tent He will hide me; He will lift me up on a rock.
He shades us behind a great rock.
Isaiah 32:1-4 Behold, a king will reign in righteousness, and princes will rule in justice. Each will be like a hiding place from the wind, a shelter from the storm, like streams of water in a dry place, like the shade of a great rock in a weary land.
Finally, God has given us the shield of our salvation. His right hand supports us. We are in a battle. And Satan cannot win. Jesus was the victor over death, sin and the grave.
Psalm 18:35-36 You have given me the shield of your salvation. Your right hand supports me. Your gentleness makes me great. You make a wide path for me to walk on so that my feet do not slip.
When our days are dark and there seems no hope. Runaway. Go to Him. He is waiting to hide you as a child runs to their father for security and protection.
Even in darkness God is there. In the darkest of places, HE IS THE LIGHT.
